Title and Registration Fees
Texas
Residents must pay 6.25% State Sales Tax and Ad Valorem Tax of
0.002508% As an Example: Sales Tax on a $10,000.00 Selling Price would
be $625.00. Ad Valorem Tax would be $25.08. Residents in Texas must
also pay a Documentary Fee of $50.00 plus, License Receipt and Title
Fees of $35.50.
Emissions
and Inspection Fees
When
required, Updates for License Stickers, Safety and Emissions Inspection
shall be paid by buyer. Vehicles which are to be registered in a County
which requires Emissions Testing may require Emissions Inspection
Certification. Buyers living in California or States which have adopted
California Emissions Standards should verify compliance before
purchasing.
Pre-Purchase Inspections
First things first! We are a one price seller and do not engage in inflated or marked up pricing. For this reason, please don't expect to use an inspection report as a negotiation tool or expect us to repair or replace items free of charge. That being mentioned, Customers are always welcome to have a pre-purchase inspection performed before taking delivery of a vehicle. Said inspections must be performed during normal business hours and at the expense of the customer. We shall not authorize anyone to dismantle, remove, repair, replace, leave parts unassembled or otherwise change or cause anything to become changed. In other words, make sure you deal with a competent and reputable mechanic as you will be held liable for whatever happens to our vehicle. Customer is responsible for making sure all items such as radiator caps, oil caps, dipsticks, bolts, nuts, electrical connections, spark plugs, spark plug wires, connections, connectors, clamps, hoses, etc. have been replaced in a secure manner before driving vehicle. Some parts are fragile and can easily become broken when handled. As an example customers should be advised that spark plugs and spark plug wires may break easily when removed. Likewise, connectors, bolts, nuts, fasteners, connectors, etc. could easily become broken. This is especially true when being worked on by an inexperienced or ill-equipped person. Anything which causes the vehicle to become different in condition to the original condition when removed from the lot shall be the responsibility of the customer. In other words, the customer shall be held liable for any damages, regardless of the cause or person who is responsible. We shall not be held liable for injuries which may occur as the result of inspections being performed. Customers must provide proof of insurance before leaving lot. In the event a non-refundable deposit has been placed prior to pre-purchase inspection, said deposit shall not be waived for any reason.
In closing this topic, just in case you are wondering why we make such a big deal about this subject. Although it rarely happens, folks have pretended to perform a pre-purchase inspection but instead, they used our truck or vehicle to pull a trailer or move furniture for their mother-in-law (or someone else). (We've also had parts either stolen or swapped out too!) We've also been left waiting after hours for someone that probably accomplished nothing more than lollygagging on the other side of town when our vehicle could have been on the lot and available for a serious purchaser. Stunts of this type aren't nice and are in total violation of trust and fair play. Although we'd like to think of ourselves as nice folks, such diversion would probably result in forfeiture of the deposit. Having read all of this, we hope you now understand why we are so darn picky about this subject.

Proof of Insurance - Verification of Funding -
Causes for Delayed Delivery
In some cases, vehicle delivery will not be made until Proof of Insurance has been received and Full Payment of Funds has been verified as received and Securely Deposited in our Bank. This is a standard business and banking procedure and is designed to protect the interest of all parties. We will not accept personal checks drawn on Out of State Banks. We accept personal checks on a limited basis. Verification of Full Coverage Insurance may be required before we will accept a personal check. For more information concerning personal checks please contact us.
Preferred Method of Payment
In order to expedite the delivery process and to avoid the requirement to provide Full Coverage Insurance prior to delivery, the preferred methods of payment are either payment in Cash or Payment via Bank to Bank Wire Transfer! Please contact us for more details.
Cashiers Checks, Money Orders, PayPal and Western Union's Bid Pay
Note: We have strict requirements concerning the acceptance of Cashiers Checks, Money Orders and Electronic Payments such as PayPal and Western Union. Upon approval, we will only accept Cashiers Checks that are delivered "In Person" meaning, the Purchaser must hand deliver said check directly to us. Said check shall include the Customer's name as the Payee! Cashiers Checks must be for the Exact Amount of the Total Sales Price as stated in the sales contract! We will not accept a Cashiers Check from an Agent or any person other than the vehicle purchaser!
Electronic Escrow Deposits
We do not accept Full Payment by PayPal or Western Union. We only approve such methods for the purpose of making a small Escrow Deposit in order to reserve a vehicle until final and secure payment arrangements can be made. Escrow Deposits are normally $100.00 and for the purpose of holding a vehicle for a period of up to 5 calendar days. A larger deposit may be required to hold a vehicle for longer periods. (Typically, $200.00 for 10 days, $300.00 for two weeks.) Specialty vehicles may require a larger deposit!
All Deposits should be considered Non-Refundable if the sale isn't completed! However, in some cases, an Escrow Deposit may be considered refundable depending on agreed conditions as set forth in the Deposit Contract and shall be credited toward the final sales price when the sale is consummated. Please find more information in the below section entitled, "Deposit to Hold a Vehicle".
Out of town purchasers are advised to contact us for questions or for more information on acceptable methods of payment. Deliveries are to be made during normal business and banking hours. However, in some cases, Out of Town Customers may find it more accommodating to take automobile delivery after hours. Such delivery may be made available upon approval (Except Sunday) for an additional fee (Usually $35.00, Except Holidays) which shall be negotiated between parties. Note: We do not charge such additional fees for vehicle deliveries completed during normal business hours.
Deposit to Hold a Vehicle
Note: The following text is intended merely as a summary of the procedures for holding a vehicle for a future purchase. Please contact us for specific details.
In some cases a "Deposit" can be paid in order to hold a vehicle for a specified period of time in order for the Buyer to have ample time to complete the transaction and make arrangements for delivery of the automobile. A Deposit is not an additional fee as Deposits are fully credited toward the final purchase price upon finalization of the purchase. However Deposits are non-refundable if the buyer does not complete the sale within the allotted time period as mutually agreed in the Deposit Contract. Deposits may be made either in person or online via www.paypal.com or Western Union.
A Deposit is a mutually agreed contract that is usually completed by fax whereby we will fax a copy of the Deposit Contract to the Customer for approval. Once said contract has been returned to us (and the deposit monies received) we shall remove the vehicle from the market and reserve the vehicle exclusively for the Customer.
All Deposits shall be considered Non-Refundable unless a "Conditional Deposit" has been agreed to, whereby the Buyer has the option to view and inspect the vehicle and determined it to be as described in the ad and/or in the event the purchase will be made contingent upon the purchaser being able to obtain financing. In such cases where the deposit is contingent upon a pre-purchase inspection, buyer shall exercise right to inspect and test drive the automobile within the specified time period. Failure to complete such inspection within the aforementioned time period shall be deemed a waiver of buyers' rights for refund. In cases where the Deposit has been placed contingent upon the Customer's ability to obtain financing, the Customer shall be required to provide proof that the subject loan was not approved. Said proof shall be a "Reason for Denial of Credit" statement from the lender. (Such statements are a mandatory document that must be presented to the applicant in the event a loan isn't approved.) When applicable, failure to deliver a Reason for Denial of Credit Statement within 15 days from the relative date of denial shall be deemed a waiver of buyers' rights for refund. (In other words, if a person has paid a deposit contingent upon financing, we want valid proof the purchaser's loan didn't go through before making a refund.)
Deposits are considered on an individual basis and must be agreed to by all parties in writing. Should purchaser not be able to complete the sale within the specified time period as outlined in the deposit contract, the automobile will be placed on the open market for sale. Said Deposit shall be retained by Seller and not returned or refunded. In other words, please don't send a deposit to hold a vehicle unless you are fully capable and truly intend to complete the sale as outlined in the deposit agreement.
